Where is Cajun Flavors located?
Cajun Flavors is currently located in Denham Springs, LA. However, we do not have a physical "walk-in" establishment. Our location makes no difference to our customers (YOU), because Cajun Flavors delivers directly to YOU!

What is your delivery response time?
Currently, most orders can be delivered on a “second or third day” basis. Deliveries are made on Wednesdays and Fridays. For example, orders placed on Monday are delivered on Wednesday, and orders placed on Tuesday or Wednesday are delivered on Friday.  With such a unique product line, we have no intention of trying to compete with the response times of establishments that deliver pizzas or sandwiches

Fresh, hot, or frozen? How are your products delivered?
Unless otherwise requested, and appropriate arrangements made, our products are delivered frozen in vacuum-packed boilable bags. For special occasions such as an office luncheon, party, etc. we can deliver it “hot-n-ready-to-serve.” Special arrangements of these products “hot-and-ready-to-serve” should be made at least 5 days in advance.

What quantities are these products available in?
Our products come in quarts, half-gallon, and gallon sizes. Larger quantities are available by request for special events you may be hosting.

Is this a "mix", or a sauce that needs water or meat added to it?
No. These products have been completely cooked to perfection. Adding anything to these products will dilute the consistency and destroy their authentic Cajun flavor. All you have to do is Heat-n-Eat!

Are there similar products available in the Baton Rouge and Denham Springs area?
Yes, there are a few other providers of similar prepared Cajun food products in the Baton Rouge area. However, ONLY Cajun Flavors offers delivery of these types of products.

How do Cajun Flavors’ products compare to other local providers of similar products?
Cajun Flavors prepares its products with the same methods and “authentic” ingredients used in Cajun Country. For example, the homemade smoked sausage and tasso in Cajun Flavors’ Chicken & Sausage Gumbo is “imported” directly from the heart of Cajun Country – these products are not available in the Baton Rouge area. By using “real” Cajun meat products rather than supermarket or bulk meat products you really can “taste the difference.” Cajun Flavors does not sacrifice quality or quantity. We believe that when you purchase products from Cajun Flavors it should be just as good as you would do for yourself at home, and perhaps even better – except you skip all the work of actually doing it. The flavor of our products is recognizable to those who know the difference as "Real Cajun."

Does anyone else in the Baton Rouge area deliver similar products?
No. To our knowledge there is no other company delivering similar products directly to the customer. In order to obtain similar products anywhere else you must get in your car, fight the Baton Rouge traffic, and spend YOUR time and YOUR gas money.

How and why did Cajun Flavors develop the "delivery" concept for its products?
In today's American society (Baton Rouge area residents are no different) "convenience" is of utmost importance. People in today's society are so serious about "convenience" that they often "settle" for less than a desired product or service if it can be made "convenient" for them to purchase. With Cajun Flavors, you can get the best available products AND the most convenience.

Why haven't I heard of Cajun Flavors before?
Cajun Flavors is a new venture serving many areas of Baton Rouge and Denham Springs. However, the chef behind the Cajun Flavors name has been cooking over the past 25 years for large gatherings locally, and from Florida to Texas.

Are Cajun Flavors' products available in any local stores?
Not yet. If and when our products become available in local stores, we will update our website with that information.

Can I pay for your products on a C.O.D. (Cash on Delivery) basis?

No. All of our delivered products are prepaid with a credit card, debit card, or through your PayPal account. This is to avoid the all too common scenario of someone not being there due to getting stuck in traffic, being in an extended business meeting, out running errands, or even forgetting about the order altogether.

Do I have to be at my business or workplace to accept delivery of Cajun Flavors’ products I ordered?
NO, YOUR schedule does not need to be interrupted for delivery of our products. Since all product deliveries are prepaid, and delivered frozen, it is not necessary for you to be there when these products arrive. These products can be left at room temperature and remain “frozen solid” for several hours – and still below refrigerated temperature for several hours after that. Leaving these products in an ice chest (no ice required) can extend these time frames even further. These time frames allow us to deliver your products while you are out of the office, or in an important meeting. If you will be out of the office for an extended time or out of town when a delivery arrives, you may want to designate someone to accept the delivery on your behalf.

Can you deliver to my house?
No. We only deliver to business addresses.

Why don’t you deliver to residences?
Delivering only to business addresses you don’t have to be concerned with being home at a certain time. Our delivery drivers don’t find themselves trying to find addresses at night, in the dark. Delivering to business addresses also decreases the chances of our delivery driver or the customer (you) getting hung-up in Baton Rouge traffic, the potential security issues associated with certain areas of the city, or the customer even forgetting about the delivery.

I don’t own a business. Can I have the products delivered to my workplace?
Yes. Employees of the business can order and have our products delivered to a business address. It is helpful to know that the business owner/manager is OK with this, as we are not interested in creating any problems with our deliveries.

I see Alligator Sauce Piquante on your menu. Isn't alligator meat kind of tough, and "gamy" tasting?
After trying it lots of people use the old cliche' "it taste like chicken." Actually, the alligator meat in our Sauce Piquante is quite tender, and has a flavor all its own. We'll let you be the judge. Interestingly, this is one of our most popular items.
Note: Alligator is so unique that to our knowledge no eating establishment in the Baton Rouge area serves it.

Does Cajun Flavors also do catering for events, parties etc.?
Yes, Cajun Flavors does catering for your special events/parties, etc. Cajun Flavors provides “affordable” catering. If you appreciate “real” Cajun cooking, not concerned with “presentation”, and want to save some money when having a party, Cajun Flavors will deliver its products “hot-n-ready-to-serve” – on a budget. Cajun Flavors does not offer “full-service” catering. We do not have a wait staff or servers. Our products are dropped-off and left with you. Our customers do realize a substantial savings as compared to a full-service catering arrangement.
